    Hey guys a real close friend of mine and fellow drag racer Rob Becker has been nominated for Canadian Sprortsman driver of the year.All you have to do is sign on to DragraceCanada and cast your vote,it is real easy and will take 5 minutes of your time.
    A little background on him.He is 32 years old,races in a SuperStock series which is very competitive,He drives the car,sets up the chassis,maintains it and built his own engine.He earns a average mans salery has very little sponsor help but managed to make it to every race,pay his morgage,and win the Canadian Stock/Superstock championship.

    I noticed it says nothing about being married or having kids. He would have to be superman to pull that off! Still got my vote. This forum is great for blowing up poles.

    Thanks Fish, and yes he's married and she's at the track right with him! Kind of a weird coincedence his father inlaw was in the hospital this summer with terminal cancer and Rob was going to miss a race to be there with him.His father inlaw told him to go and win one for him.Well he went and WON! When he got back to the hospital later that day and told him what happened he gave him a thumbs up and within a hour died.Funny thing is if he didn't go that day he woulden't have won the championship
