Anyone used the Rousch 200 heads, have the Rousch 200 heads or have any good or bad info about the Rousch 200 heads. I will be putting them on a 351W with the intent of a Hydrolic Roller Cam. Any Pros or Cons to these heads? lil me
from what I've read/heard, they're nice pieces. Nothing more than the Windor Sr. heads, but they've supposedly cleaned them up some. I hope so....the old Winsor Sr heads had some casting flaws in them, they werent as smooth as would be expected.
R 200 are on my Crate Motor. Work fine to me... I had the first World Sr Heads b4. And your right lilredneck about the castings, not the best. Anyways make sure you have the right cam for those heads... you all heard of over camming i'm sure... theres "over" heading as well i'd say. Its all about the combanation of the whole thingy. Also remember with headers in a Maverick these heads (Roush 200) the number 7 and 8 plug will be very hard to get with a socket if not at all. Also your spark pulg wires will sit on the headers and burn. This goes for TFS heads as well. Protect your wires well.
