If it will help, I think the port at the front of the trans is the outlet side. You should have bends at the front of the motor (the lines) that will allow for the engine movement. Alot of us have rubber lines connecting the radiator to the lines. Allows the movement and makes it easier to connect. Careful around the belts/pulleys. Post pics of what you done.

I couldn't help, because I spent the day drinking beer and mixing cement. Plus I used braided steel hose for mine. :)

Mine are out, so I can't be much help. I can tell you my lines were only attached at the ends. I expected some supporting clips along the lines attached to something.

Don't think it matters which way the lines are attached to the trans or cooler in the radiator.

I found a couple of pictures that show a bit of the lines. They were obviously intended to show other things ...

    John

I ran my lines along the starter side of the engine .

Get a GOOD quality bender and double flaring tool take your time and think about it BEFORE you bend it you will be fine . It may be easier IF you have the engine and trans on the floor if take your time ..

    Good luck Jay

Are the C-4 lines the same between an I6 and a V8? Im assuming with a bigger engine theyd be run different...but if not I can take detailed pics of mine since I have the whole front end of mine torn apart right now.

After running back and forth to the garage about 10 times snappin pics, I finally found 5 good ones, I dont know where the lines run once they get to the trans, but I did color code them in case some of these other guys know.

    Hope this helps.

EDIT: After looking at the first pic...I know now where my trans is throwing tranny fluid on the exhaust ....lol

Jeff, in the first pic it almost looks like your driver front tire is seperated.
