Hello Guys and Gals, Was cruisin in South Omaha in my 99 Camaro Z28 (thats right, I'm a camaro guy) and noticed out of the corner of my eye what looked like a nice 70 Maverick with a "For Sale" sign in the window. Believe it or not, a 70 Maverick has always been on my wish list. As it turns out, this is an original 63,000 mile, one owner car from a small farm town on the Kansas-Nebraska border. I never thought I would find a premo original Maverick here and for a reasonable price. Its a six popper/three on the tree version in poppy red with black and white plaid bench seat interior. I emptied my already stretched bank account to buy it, (good thing I'm divorced) but I'm pretty excited. Plans are to make it a mild 302 5-spd street car (70/80s style). I have already been visiting web sites and am convinced to keep the original suspension with a 77 Grenada disc brake upgrade and a 9" on stock springs. Weld Racing Draglites with skinnys on the front and sticky street slicks on the back. The body and interior are so nice I wont have to touch it.
As an owner of a 79 Z-28 since 1980 and an original owner of a 76 Maverick, welcome to the place,, nice people here.
