HI!! First of all would like to introduce myself to the rest of you....My name is jim form Mount Vernon,Ohio... I own a 1975 Maverick Grabber (not a clone) that i bought from my sister in 1996 it has been in storage for about 12 years now and have just recently started restoring it in july. the car is in very good shape thats is until i removed the rock sheilds between the frame and rocker panels and found where a frame used to be!!! lol... glad i never decided to put it on the road i may have lost it..
so i have resorted to fabrcating the front frames from .083 2 x 3 tubing and have them installed at this time.....am starting on the back frame where from what i experianced tearing out the front frame i think it is best..for those of you that never have any reason to.....go out right now and pull out the steerbox bolts and inspect them!!! mine where so thin where they went thru the frame is was unbelieveable!! i have pics...will have to get tthem scanned soon.... nice to meet you all...jim

Always glad to add more people to the group. Maybe just a few more and we will out number those Mustang guys. Well, maybe a chapter. Well, maybe a small local chapter. Good luck on the rust repair. It is a challenging job but very rewarding when completed.
