Rust.

    How is the best way to deal with rust on the underside of the hood and trunk lid under the bracing?

    I was told to use kitty hair. That it is way better then bondo but im sure the west way is welding.

    LOL! The "b" and the "w" are not even close to each other for that simple misspell. I misspell also but that one is too easy :p

    brown, you gotta get as much out or off as possible then coat it with por15 or rust bullet. I have also heard that there is a neutralizer you can use, but can't think of the name.

    Napa sells a rust neutralizer called "Rust Ban" it workes very well. Also Eastwood company sells a 2 part rust neutralizer that workes very well(they have it in aerosol form too). I have used both on many projects and have yet to see rust re-form where the stuff was applied.

    I tried to use the kitty hair. But, I think my problem was the kitty was still attached.:rofl2: Yep, neutralizer from Napa.:)
