I am going to be painting my interior with SEM Black vinyl paint and I can't decide if I should use Satin or Gloss. I don't want it to be too shiny so I think I'm leaning towards Satin, but what do you guys think? What type did you use if you have tried the SEM vinyl paint? What type would you use if you were going to paint your interior? Thanks in advance for all of your input.

SEM satin #15243 for anything plastic and vinyl. It is an almost perfect match to the factory black. I did an experiment once and had dyed and NOS door panels side by side and nobody could tell which was which.

I need to add - humidity seems to have a big effect on final color. I only spray it when the weather is warm and humidity is low.

I have not used the paint, but, I agree on the satin. I wud never use a gloss finish on the interior for fear of distracting glare.

Thanks for all the responses. I guess satin it is!
In case anybody else is interested, the cheapest place I found it was on ebay with summit racing as the seller. It was $16 a can at my local O'reilly's and that was if they could order it, so with tax it would be $35 for two cans. On ebay they are $10 a can and you only pay shipping for the first item which is only $5, so it comes to $35 for 3 cans. Ebay here I come! As Acornridgeman stated it is part # 15243 for satin and if somebody decides they do want to use gloss it is part # 15233.:Handshake

So I did order the satin and I've started painting some of the smaller parts like the kick panels, arm rests, shifter knob etc. So far everything is looking good and I would like to reiterate what others may have already said. When painting your parts, make sure everything is as clean as possible and only paint when there is low to zero humidity.
