Not sure if the fuel shut off or if it flooded out when the wheels came up but I sure hate it when that happens. :yikes:

    Wow!

You don't need no stinking oil pan. Actually, now I'm curious. What was the lowest part on your car?

Could have been worse. At least it didn't oil down the track. It bulged the pan out a little on the sides and bent the mounting brackets on my steering rack. I straighted out the rack brackets. I will have to do an alignment and that's about it. Got off pretty lucky. Gotta figure out why it dies when it comes up or it will happen again.

That's good that it was not that bad.

You reminded me of a story... not to steal the thread, it is related to your problem.

So I had just been introduced to bracket racing, I was around 16 years old. My dad had a buddy who had a Mustang II, caged, tubbed, 351W, ran mid 11's. Not crazy fast, but fast to me for sure! Anyway, I was going to drive the car for the first time that day, and after signing up for the Class 1 bracket, we headed to the pits to get started. Johnny, my dad's buddy, took the Mustang up and made the first pass, just to make sure everything was in order. Turned a 11.49. Right on the money. So next was my turn. I suited up, jumped in and headed for the box. After warming the tires, Johnny staged me up, I creept into the lights, held the transbrake down, floored it and waited... SNAP went my hand as the first yellow popped, and 1.5 seconds later I was pinned to the back of the seat. Blew through the traps and headed back to get my timeslip. Johnny was waiting for me, and he said something was wrong with the car. It went a 12.9! So we went back to the pit and checked it out. Huh, nothing wrong. Ok, so he says go run again. I did, and turned a 12.8. Uh oh. So, Johnny jumps in and heads back for a pass. 11.50. What?!

Ok, so now we are scratching our heads. Johnny parks the car and runs into his RV. He comes back with a pillow. He said, "Get in", so I did. He then stuffed the pillow in behind my back. He says, "Go make a pass, do the same thing you did early." So I head up, warm up the meats, stage, and GO! Holy Smokes! 11.50!

My foot was lifting off of the pedal, straight-legged. I couldn't reach the pedals once the car left the line. :rofl2:

It's AJE suspension (which I love) and everything fits in there just great. I think I will hang on to the Pro Charger for a while. :D

I would sugest a set of wheely bars that are adjustable so you can lower them closer to the track for racing. If the front doesn't get up as high, it won't come down as hard making it a lot easyier on the car and the driver's pocket book. Makes it easier to see where you are going too. :tiphat::drive:
