Funny guy. Ruth and I went to a wedding with him and Tony Schumacher a few years ago. Down to earth guy when he's not racing. Pretty crazy when he is.:D

Very cool pics Jeff, I did not get to take one with him because they had just arrived at the track and He went straight into the trailor to change .

I saw Ashley giving an interview from a distance, and then she drove right past me with a guy on a golfcart.

I once sat in a bar with John Force, it was cool he was calling me by name all night (but then I figured out, I was wearing a work shirt, that had my name on it) :D

Just goes to show that even famous people...household names....people you see on TV in hollywood, etc...

    They are just people.

Odd how lots of racers don't like Force. Some say that he "owns" the whole show on race day. Might be partially true but you know what...he and his teams put on a good show. The fans love it.

Just got back from Indianapolis. Spent the weekend up there watching Pole day and Bump day at the IMS. You know, it's cool...they are super fast, the whole experience was awesome but when it comes down to it, I'd rather be at a NHRA race. At least they have a traditional V8 sound (Indy uses flat plane crankshafts which make a V8 sound like a crotch rocket) and you can get a face full of nitro in the pits if you want to get that close. Can't even get within 100' of the garage area at Indy.

Great bunch of pics. I really like John Force.
I helped Kim Mitchell change a tire on his van at the College when I was in trade school. He did a little gig at the bar and around 1:00am we were leaving when we see this guy and an old brown Chev van (if memory serves) changing a flat tire. We went over to help then realized it was Kim. Helped him out and I asked him why hes driving this old crappy van. HE laughs and says hes been all over N America in this thing and he wouldnt give it up for nothin. Talk about down to earth. No limo, no bus just an old van full of guitars and gear.
USed to play football with Graham Nash as a kid in England. He was at my uncles moms house which we visited a lot. Graham and my Uncle are cousins. A great family. My uncle and Graham Nash could pass for brothers.
Thats about the best I got.:yup:
