   Maybe if you made it out of plexi-glas it could do double duty as a moonroof...

    well...

It would definately be unique. I like the idea about putting a moonroof under it.

It could be done, but it'd have to be done really carefully. Make it small, and accent it with a two tone paint job. Just look at a whole bunch of old muscle cars and see what I'm talking about. If you plan it out good I think it could look good. Just keep in mind that your car is a good old american "tractor motor", chrome bumper, torque pumpin', beast. Not a whirring, hissing, forced induction wind up toy made out of plastic and recycled beer cans. (i.e. You got american muscle, not japanese rice, accept it, love it.)

It might look good, you'd want to go low profile though, don't want the car to look to tall. As far as functionality, about all you could use it for is a vent to cool you off in the summer. Your gonna want to make sure you could seal it off somehow, that would probobly make quite a bit of wind noise otherwise. Maybe a slideing cover like you see on all sunroofs. I'd play with photoshop before cutting a hole in my roof though.
