scored a 77 Maverick

Yesterday I was bored. So, I got online & checked Craigs List for Mavericks (just for fun). I noticed a 77 Maverick in Seattle, for $1100. Then I clicked on the Seattle Times link, to see a picture of the car. Low and behold, it was Tom selling his car. I had given him a radiator, for the car about 3 years ago. I emailed him about the car. Asked what his bottom line was for the Maverick. Told him I would take good care of it. It would be going to a good home. I also need a daily driver, all of mine are down (except the 73 Comet). I don't like to drive it in rainy winter weather. He called me today. Told me he thought of me first. Said he emailed me (I didn't get it). He called my phone number in the Shorthorns. It's disconnected. Said he would let me have the car for $10. Along with 2 oil filters, & 2 snow tires mounted on wheels. I can't believe my luck. I'll be picking the Maverick up, on New Years Day at 10am. It'll be my daily driver, for my new job, which I start, on January 2nd. I'll post pictures as soon as I can. I truely believe in Karma. WooHoo!!!!
