Dan,Did you know that is still available as an Iron on transfer ? I have one in color. Of coarse a silkscreen would be better.
I have not seen it in an iron-on .. I got the picture of a 1971 Magazine ad for T-shirts ... T-shirt ... $2.95 Sweatshirt .... $4.75 Jacket .... $8.95 Where did you get the transfer?
damn, thought you might have had a job for me.. i got 6 years experiance but no shop to work in anymore
Try this, it worked for my buddy. Get iron on printer paper from Wally World (or anyplace that sells fabric/craft stuff I'm thinking), load that picture into paintbrush or something similar. Then print it on the iron on paper, and iron it on. My friend has done several shirts now, and so far it has worked great. Just a thought. Preston
web services. in this page and this one they make customs t-shirts. there are a lot of other pages that make the same thing... but it the first ones at my google search.
I bought the transfer several years ago at Fun Ford Weekend. I used to also have one on a T-shirt but I wore the shirt until there was nothing left of it.
Anybody interested? ... Cost would be like $10 - $12 per T-shirt plus shipping .. I need a minimum order of 12 .... I can mix and match sizes and shirt colors ... Sweat shirts and stuff are also available from http://www.berda.com If I get enough replies I'll put an order together .... I'm thinking black graphics and you decide the shirt color ... prices for the different colors and types of shirts are on the website. I'm not looking to make any money off of this so cost of shirt + shipping is the price. That would be for silk-screening ... Not iron on .... So it will last ... Dan
I may be interested as long as the logo is on the back, (I'm picky) Maybe a small ford oval on the front
I have that shirt it was screen printed. I bought at the Columbus ford swap 4 years ago. It says ford power comes in small packages on it or some such.
transfer I got that transfer from ebay about a year ago but I haven't been able to find someone to transfer it for me. Can I use a regular iorn to do this and how long/hot do you iron it for? I don't want to destroy it. I had two shirts like that I bought at the Super Ford Fests in the 70's I also have a baseball cap with that print. I also have a "baseball" like card that came in a package of gum. Its a 429 71 Maverick hotrod with a bad guy chasing a cop! Ive had this since I was a kid!
I agree with having the picture on the back. If you can arrange it, I will take two T-shirts, Wife beater shirts or what have you. Just send me a PM with the total you need me to send you.
FYI .... I found an NOS iron-on transfer of the Roach Design above. Here is a hi-res scan. Since I never did get the shirt made up I figure if anyone wants to try their hand with the INK-JET iron-ons they can use this pic ...... Have fun ... I have used them before and they work extremely well but tend to fade after a few washings. FYI ... for those on dial-up internet - this file is 1.1 MEG ... http://homepage.mac.com/dmhines/transfer.jpg
I would be interested, but lets get fancy and print on both sides.... See I have 2 types of shirts....printed on one side....endsup as work shirts. Printed on 2 side, well thats my church going and Sunday dinner at mom's shirt.
