Howdy folks, my first posting here...
i recently picked up a 74 mav, and i'm in the process of getting it ready for certification...
One of the problems i'm having is i can't figure out how to disconnect the passenger side seat belt interlock device...i figured that there would have been two wires that would either have to be grounded to the body or to each other...but no wires that i can see at all...I think it works by magic :)

I'mn sure some one else has been thro this already, so any help would be greatly appriciated...

My 73 had an interlock that had a plug under the seat and the wires were hidden along the seat frame before going under the carpet. I found mine by taking the seat out and felt the tugging of the wire. Use a mirror and a flashlight and you will find the plug under the cushion.

I figured it out today, when you pull the seat belt out (as if to put the seat belt on) you trigger a switch in the assmebly that opens a ground connection. All i had to do was pull this wire out of its housing...
