seat covers again

    I thought I remembered someone making mustang seat covers fit mav seats .I have 71 mustang seats for the front of my 70 but what did they use on the backone:huh: .Thanks Chris

    Chris,, I think the 71 -73 stangs had a really tall rear seat backrest. I am thinking 69-70 seats are closer? Interesting topic that can help many on here I am sure.

    71-73 Mustang Bucket covers are identical to 71-72 Maverick Highback Bucket Covers .. different patterns and designs ... but dimensionally the same. They will fit no problem ... The rear is a different story ... somebody on here tweaked the Mustang back covers and got them to fit ...

    Thats what I thought just wonderd what year .I`ll keep y`as posted if I figure it out.I live pretty close to CJ pony parts and there pretty patient with me comparing mustang parts to mav parts.So i guess a road trip is in the future.

    Are those the straight (70-71) or scalloped (72 & up) back seats? How much work was it? Looks great.
