Recieved my new seat covers yesterday and proceeded to get the ball-rolling and work on covering the frames. I had Fred Carello construct the covers, and I will say I LIKE EM. Fred does great work at a reasonable price. "U get what ur pay for".
Anyway, I had a previous post/pole here abt on color combination. I had two colors in mind. I went against the majority vote; on something mechanical issue I wud not have done it, "went against majority". On a cosmetic issue I wud risk it. I feel the #B combo has more eye appeal. I felt after 38 yrs of all black it was time for a change.

I made some nice progress on getting the old covers off the rear seat bottom and figuring out how things go. As usual, "first attempt at auto upholstery" inexperience dictated I remove more hog rings than necessary. I belive I have it down now, tommorrow I plan on doing the entire rear. I plan when I get started it will be :yahoo:$$$holes & elbows till I fiinsh the rear.
My last thread/post #3 will the final product - I will then be ready for some serious MOTORING AT THAT POINT.
Im still entertaining comments on this subject.

I don't plan on selling them. The fronts are in bad shape, esp., the pass side. I had someone inquire abt the condx. of them. I wud give them away "the rears". I have someone on forum wants the fronts for patterns. I was going to throw them out - never thought abt using them for patterns. The rear is in pretty gud shape exc. for on little tear in the top by the package tray.
