Serpentine belt swap

    it should work. its ment for a reverse rotation water pump. that accessorys on a 351 are usally further away from the water pump so there shouldnt be any clearance issues.

    i just want to run alternator and water pump....and adjust tension with the alternator.... (manual steering)

    rthomas... they dont say anything about a 351 tho....

    so if he runs it like a normal v belt then he wont need a reverse waterpump

    would this work

    i went to manual steering to on my 302 //so all i would have to do is buy this setup and the alt watter & crank pullys would line up ??

    I don't know if it would work because of the taller deck height on the 351. The bolt holes might not line up.

    1972 Maverick 2 door.Original V-8 3 spd std shift.Also a 72 one owner Sprint sporting a 351 Windsor
    The water pump pulley is smooth in that kit. So WP is driven by backside of belt.Wont work on a std roataion conventional (to mavs/comets)ALT/WP/Crank set up.
