Sheetmetal valve covers, no pcv fitting. How would I run these?

There is no hole for the pcv, and no baffle. Can I make these work without to much...work?

 

drill hole, install rubber gromment, install pcv valve


that's what i did with a set of aluminum valve covers a few yrs ago

 

or cut the hole with a hole saw and use one of these.

 

its a good idea to have a baffel under the breather or use some sort of baffeled breather. those billet ones posted look like a good way to go.

 

Billet Specialties makes a cap with PCV in it.

 

Hmmm...good suggestions.

those look awesome are you planning on putting one hole in it for the pcv or just a breather? If you want just a breather you could use one of these from moon eyes



but you still have to worry about putting oil in the motor

and as for puting oil in the motor if you put pvc holes just pull the pvc out and poor the oil in with a funnel ?

 

I had the same problems, and even with a small baffle, it used oil. I made a baffle for the pcv the same size and depth as the stock valve cover, and it is fine, except under high rpm. Don't know if the pcv is the culprit on those occasions, but so far, it is all I can think of. Here are a few pics of the baffle.

 

Earl, will those clear 1.7 roller rockers? That is the only fear I have. I had to beat the baffle down on one of mine to make them clear.

 

Scoop; these valve covers are tall, and I have plenty of room. I use the 1.6 rockers that are stock, but I have loads of room over the baffle. BTW, how have you been?
