    A 65 or 66 will fit because the tail light panel is flat and the caps are the typical screw off type. 67 - 70 were pop open and the tail light panel was concave. I have seen 70 - 73 Mustang caps used, but they always looked too large in my opinion. Just go on e%#y and get a deluxe cap for a Maverick or Comet.
