Ok everyone so you guys have helped me solve almost every prob with this car I recently purchased. Its a 66 mustang v6 3 speed manual trans. Now the problem im having is that when I go from 1st gear acceleration it shutters. I feel strong vibration. Also I struggle to put it into 2nd gear. I put the clutch all the way in but its still the same. I was told trans was rebuilt 1 yr ago and clutch replaced yr ago aswell. Any ideas of what might be prob and what I can do?

Its possible the clutch needs to be adjusted if what your describing is clutch chatter, as opposed to a problem in the tranmission. If it is the trans...Coolvettes is correct. That was a notoriously bad tranny but...They were also noted for having poor trans to bell housing alignment which would kill the input shaft bearings and take out a few gears...Good luck!!!
