I have a Grabber hood for sale in the for sale section. Has anyone shippied a hood before? I've shipped large items by Grey Hound and it was pretty reasonable (around $70). Can you think of another way if the buyer doesn't have a Grey Hound around them?

Grey Hound is deff the most cost effective, even if the buyer has to drive a small distance to the nearest terminal

GreyHound is definately the only way. UPS or FedEx would cost as much as the hood is worth.

I shipped on Greyound from Conn. to South Carolina for $80. I thought that was reasonable.

I was shipping carbon fiber and fiberglass hoods for around $100 all over the country using Estes Express and AIT world wide. You would need to pack it up with some cardboard. I think they priced us on size, not weight.

try the cross country carriers. yellow frt, roadway, rtl, some will even crate it for you for a fee. if you are shipping to a major metro and its a big item, hood, axle, trans, motor. this is the only way to go.

Glenn sent a hood to me on the hound and they called when it got there. Seemed really easy on both ends. I gotta send you a final pic of the hood glenn.
