I have a set of adjustable front shocks that i would like to put on but the previous owner put a set of falcon shocks on it and made a mount for them to work. so my question is, is the upper shock mount maverick specific or will i be able to find one that will work from another car?
matt, i've used early mustang parts on the top of the shock towers. if that's what you're talking about. what kind of shocks do you have?
I have a set of competition engineering three way adjustable shocks # C2630. it looks like they are 90/10, 80/20, or 60/40 depending on what you want. i think we are going to try the 80/20 first. when we adjusted the ones on my dads mustang it stopped doing huge wheelies and picked up a tenth and a half. so we ae hoping for a couple of hundredths to put us a little closer to the super street index.
if you can't find the parts you need, i have a set of 2640's brand new that are for a falcon. i don't have it any more. if you need them let me know.
