went to firebird in phoenix last night. 1st run, i spun the tires and ran 12.14. 2nd run, the car just died about 100' out. got towed back to the pits. found an ignition wire had popped off at the fuse box. i had already changed out the msd before i found it. 3rd run, diale 12.08 and ran 13.20. with all the rocker arm trouble i've had lately i just put the car in the trailer and watched for a while. i didn't want to take a chance on hurting the motor since i'm running for the points at tucson. checked the car out today and found when we changed out the msd someone must have tugged on the spark plug wire for #5 and #6 cylinder and got them loose. does that count as a 6 cylinder running 13.20?:)

I'd say about 6 and a half cylinders...good job:rolleyes: We all have them kinda days...some of us more than others...the more you race the more your gonna have...the law of averages is gonna catch up eventually.
Or as I hear more than i like, the infamous "That's Racing":16suspect

not too bad though.. at least you were smart enough to not keep pushing it..

a good driver knows when to bow out and come back on the return trip
