I have some cool plans for my trunk...and want to see what others have done to theirs. I want mine to look and sound like a newer car, only without that cardboard/carpet thingy on the bottom. I will use a sturdier material, maybe 3/8" plywood. I also need to make it sturdy enough that my battery can be mounted to it and it will not move around. I want to completely separate my trunk from my interior and insulate it from the rest of the car. Anyone got pix
Got junk in my trunk! Not sure if posted on uses of por before,,, coat your cardboard or whatever you use behind seat with it. I didn't do it,,just read about it.
Now THAT'S what I am talking about... I wasn't even thinking about covering the tailight panel...but the rest looks pretty much like what I have in mind...
Craig, how does that speaker sound behind the back seat? I guess that goes for Fan too? I don't have a back seat in (just a carpet covered plywood platform for my dog to stand on, she was starting to wear through the stock seat cover, so I put it in the attic. When she passes on, I will put the back seat back in.). But that speaker mount is EXACTLY what I have on the back of the dog perch. Been thinking of putting in a speaker or two like that, but figured I would lose the sound when the back seat is put back in.
