side window louvers for a maverick?????

    i saw a pic of a maverick with them, i really want a pair, any ideas if these are even made, if so where i can get a pair....maybe parts interchange?

    i'd like to get one for the rear window myself. i dont think there is anything on the aftermarket, at least not currently and i know they wernt original equiptment.

    i,ve seen both quarter window,and rear louvers,but i,ts been years.J.C. Whitney used to sell the rears.I wonder where thet all went.I would love a set.

    Three 71 Maverick Grabbers, a 72 302 Sprint, a 73 LDO 2door parts car, a 76 silver v8 Stallion.
    The rear louvers are extremely hard to find. I got lucky and found mine on eBay about 3 years ago. It was a very poorly written ad and got very little attention so I didn't have much competition in the bidding. I paid $190 for them.

    I think Chuck Stalnaker has a set of the side louvers. He owns Maverick Connection. It's the same kind that's pictured in the eBay ad above. They also came from Brazil. You contact him thru this board if you want to check into them.

    Those are cool.
    I have only seen them available in Brazil until now.
    The ones available here have a different louver shape and direction.
    Not nearly as nice as these.
    Assuming you don't mind the louvers facing forward as opposed to the traditional rear facing.

    I would rather have them facing the other direction. Taping them on aint good for me either. Aluminum would be better also...IMHO :drink:
