Ok, here is the deal. I took all 10 sets to have them polished. The polisher said it would be between $10 and $14 a part so that will add $20 to $28 to the set. I don't think they would have been good being satin finished unless some one took them and had them clear anodized or powder coated, they would have stained too easy, kind of like an intake manifold. At least polished you can wipe them down with polish and they will shine. Should be 2 to 3 weeks from last fri. I didn't want to say anything until I had them done. I had to pay shipping to get them to me from the billet guy also which was $26, so add another $2.60 to the price per set. I want all to know that I'm not making a dime on this, and I'm not unhappy in the least about it but I don't want you to think that I'm adding this stuff on to make money, my cost is your cost, I just like to make something different and I couldn't afford to make one set for myself, needed 9 other buyers. Oh yeah, I'm keeping one set for my car:D so there will only be nine.

    $1000. for the 10 sets
    $26. for there shipping
    $20 to 28 for polishing
$? actual shipping to your house
$? total but this gives you an idea of what they will cost
Thanks for bearing with me, I wish I could have had them for the round up, Ward

I'd rather polish them myself. Besides I was going to paint in the machined area so I'd end up sanding and buffing the raised area anyway. Make sense?

Sorry Dennis, yes it does make sense, but they are already there, if you want I can have him hold a set out(not polish it). If you guys read other mags, the guy polishing did all the polishing on the orange 55 effie that took runner up at the f-100 super nationals this year. The truck was on the cover of custom classic trucks this month which is probably not on the news stand now. Anyways I think everyone will be extremely happy with the polishing that he does. Dennis, I also want to tell you that the face of the plates is raw billet from a sheet just so you know, and they won't be able to ship any earlier as it is a trip to go pick them up so I'll wait until the others are done. Just let me know what you want to do.

PS he won't be polishing the recessed area that is sunk around the logo, I figured most would do that body color to give it contrast.

Dont worry about it if they are already there. I can work around it.
