    Finishing up the Sleeper 302 for my Grabber - 1968 block and heads built up nicely.

    woah dude... that looks spectacular. Did you clear coat that thing or what... my eyes hurt... and all i can see are these white patches everytime i blink.... Nice engine.

    No clear - just Eastwood Company Ford Blue Engine Paint :)

    thats a great looking motor. mine shall be soon going back in my 72 2dr soon engine still at the shop and i have body work before i want to put it in.send me some pics if possible of your ride.

    Looks very pretty. Funny, once you install & run them they never look that good again. It's a shame...So, tell me what were your thoughts in going with the black block & blue heads?

    1968 Heads and block
    1.84 intake
    1.54 exhaust - ported
    Hi-Po springs and teflon seals
    Guide plates and screw in studs
    Speed-Pro flat tops
    Comp-Cams 270H Cam and Comp-Cams Roller-tip rockers and pushrods
    Hooker Competition headers for exhaust.
    Edelbrock Performer intake and carb
    Using a stock ignition with a Pertronix II module so I'll see how that works.
    Carter hi-flo Fuel Pump
    Miloden oil pump and windage tray
    Chrome fluid damper



    The short block was actually yellow when I bought it. I was gonna do a two-tone black and blue engine but stopped at the block with the black paint.
