I think they have another 25 years in them what do y`all think ? A little duck tape , spray paint and all should be fine right ?
ouch... If it was mine, I'd tackle it... I dunno if I want to volunteer to hack up someone else's car tho... You just made me greatfull that I only have to do the cowl and floorpans...
They don't look too good, but they are fixable. The torque boxes on our Stallion were worse than that. We cut the old ones out and made new ones to weld back in. It's really not that hard of a job to do and the new ones are just as strong if not stronger than the original ones.
Man... that's rusty. Even my parts cars are solid as a rock in that area. Remind me to never move north...
lol no problem 'till the windshield is pointed straight at the hood... riding down the road like Buford T. Justice...
Yep.....give me a sawz-all!!! I wouldn't be afraid to drive it like that. Have driven worse on a daily basis back in school.
Wow, they look like there in pretty rough shape. I'd be tackling them pretty quick if planning on saving the vehicle. They won't get any better as time progresses!
That rattlecan undercoating is great for hiding stuff like that. I am sure is strengthens it by 2 fold also. Dan
