Smog Headers Needed

    74 Maverick 4 door, 73 Maverick 4 door, 76 Maverick 2 door
    Does anybody know where I can get some smog headers for my 1976 302 V8?

    Living in Phoenix area requires emissions testing.

    Just take it in for testing. I think if it costs more than $75 to fix and you fail the emissions test twice, you get a permenant waiver.

    What would be smog about them? 302s have air pump injenction directly into the heads, and the converter is down the line.

    Other than being non-stock, I am not sure why they would fail you. Of course, you could always ask them.

    I have personaly seen two 302 with off the self headers pass emissions, and these were the cali ones:yikes:


    cool thing here if you dont pass smog they loan you $500 to fix it:rolleyes:
