Hello all. I doubt anyone will remember me, I haven't been around in a while. This is actually my second time "coming back." I joined the site in 2004, with hopes of replacing the Maverick I had as a kid, then returned in 2009 when the bug bit again (struck out finding one both times). Craig might remember a post where we discovered that he bought a Grabber in the town I live in. Anyway, it seemed life kept getting in the way of my hopes of owning a Maverick. Some updates since the last time I was around... I sold the Chevelle and both Novas. The Chevy crew cab project was stolen from the lot it was sitting on. The Jeep was totaled in a Wal Mart parking lot by a drunk driver. Been through a couple other vehicles since until I've got to where I am now: almost completely free of General Motors products! I do have a Cavalier that is on its last leg- I'm babying it until I finish with the front end repair on my F-250 Super Duty (hands down the best truck I have ever owned). Oh, and as of last February, I am now a grandpa (still don't know how to feel about that one). But I did come soooo close this time- it was on Ebay- a yellow 2-door 1974 with a 302 in Tennessee- a road trip indeed, but it looked like it was worth it. Then, the auction was pulled before it could run its course! I'm starting to think it's a curse or something...
