Driver's in supercharged front-engine open-bodied cars must wear a helmet meeting SNELL SA95, SA90 or SFI 31.1 or 31.2 Specs or BSI BS 6658-85 type A (including all amendments) Specs. See General Regulations 10.7.
Helmets Well guys i did my own research on the helmet requirements and as long as your not racing a supercharged front engine, open bodied car or funny car ,you are NOT required to were a snell sa2005 helmet (the way more costly),but can use a snell m 2005(k98 or sfi -41.1a,41.2a ,these are open face or closed face moto-cross helmets and are a hell of a lot cheaper to buy than a snell sa 2005 helmet ,theres the goods guys Jimmy2gates snell M -stands for moto-cross 2005
