Okay folks... It's me. When I was walking the compressor away from the cab of the truck the nails pulled out of the 2X4 pallet and the compressor came crashing down. It fell faster than I could fall and the tip of my little finger got tied up in the cooling fins on the cylinder or something. Anyway it pulled the end of my little finger out of the knuckle. The shot the doctor gave me hurt more than getting my finger dislocated (I guess thats why they call it a pain shot...because it hurts). I have a cast from my elbow to my finger tips. This is the first time I ever broken a bone in my 53 years. Actually the bone didn't break...it came un-done. Doc said if the cast doesn't work they will put pins in my finger. What really made me mad was the UPS truck just dropped off a new gas tank for my Maverick while I was at the doctor and I couldn't open the box to check it out. I can't even pick my nose left handed so life is gonna be interesting for the next 6 weeks. I know now that driving a mouse on the computer is like looking through a mirror to move it around...I'll get it right the second or third time around.

Speaking of not doing things left-handed, have you had to go to the bathroom and do the paperwork, yet?

Glad you were not hurt any more than that.:thumbs2:

Don- That was my first concern. It didn't hit the truck bed too hard. I had carpet on the floor to slide the tank to the tail gate. I guess the trunk springs took some of the shock. I know I was jumping up and down when I got my finger loose and the truck was rocking to

Alan- I was getting out of the way as fast as I could but I was stuck to it. When the slack ran out of my arm it was too late.

Terry- I wasn't really picking my nose when I figured out I'm not too coordinated left handed.:shhh:

Glad the compressor didnt fall on you, coulda smashed more than a finger.do you have an old coat hanger ready for the itchy arm in the cast that you cant scratch??? Get one you will use it.
