I talked to the fellow today as did Frank. I was told that it may be a while before gets back on the forum. I debated with myself as to whether or not I should speak for him. I just got off the phone with him and he said for me to fill everybody in.

Earl Branham has not a very good last few days. Last Wednesday, he gets a call from his dad and his dad wants Earl and Earl's brothers and sisters to come home to South Carolina. Earl goes on Friday. The family knew his mother was sick, but they learned this weekend she has about two weeks to live.

Earl came home last night and had today off. He decides to cut the grass to get his mind on other things. He cranks the Mav for the first time in about two weeks and backs it out of the garage. As he is getting his lawn mower, he notices heavy smoke coming out from under the hood. He had it out by the time the fire truck got there. Earl will give all the details when he gets back on the board.

Earl needs our prayers. And, so does his dad and the rest of the family. Earl said his Maverick can wait. I agree.

Condolences, Earl, and best wishes for you and your family. When it comes time to fix the Mav I hope I can donate some of the parts I've been stashing.
