There is an automotive electric shop in the Ft. Worth, TEXAS area who can rebuild old car wiper motors, starters, alternators and generators. He even makes one wire alternators if any one would install a GM part on a car.

The way I have always understood it, is with a Maverick if the wiper motor goes bad you have to throw away the rest of the car because basically Ford started with a wiper motor and built a Maverick around it and the wiper motor on a Maverick is 95% impossible to get out. hahahaha

No truer words were ever spoken. I drove my first car in Florida with 3 coats of Rain-X so I wouldn't have to replace that stupid motor.
