    Well, It's now official SIR is the newest IHRA racetrack and the first IHRA track in Az. This will be as of Monday, January 31st.:bananaman:bananaman:bananaman

    March 25 and 26th will be the Nitro Jam. Grave Digger Vs. Jet truck...top fuel, fuel alterds, prostalgia funny car, nitro harleys, jet dragsters and a wheelstanding schoolbus. Also they are going to run Sportsmen, Pro , and Super pro. Maybe MC's and possibly a stock/super stock class. Not sure what the payout is yet. Tickets and info at nitrojam.com Save $10 on adult tickets when you use the code "SUPER". Expires 3/11/2011.:)

    Yes Gene, I plan on racing at the Nitro Jam.

    Tony, SIR no longer has anything to do with the NHRA. It is now only IHRA. :)

    Wow only 10 points races, we have 19 and it is a bummer no free time to do anything else. But our track isn't nearly as big as yours event wise or probably car count wise, owner has to make money somehow I guess :cry:

    The posted payout is about the same though, wish they would bump sportsman payout up some, we probably have 100 sportsman any given weekend and about 125 pro and maybe 60 super pro

    Wow!! We are lucky to have 25 cars in any class.Drag racing in dieing down here in Phoenix.
    At the BIG events we might get 50 cars in Sportsman.Sad:huh:

    I agree. I talked to the manager last weekend and told her I thought the payout for Sportsman should be higher. :) Want to take bets on wether anything will change about that.
