I need to purchase a new speedometer cable and I'm wondering if the speedometer cable for a '71 Grabber 3sp. tranny will reach the input on a 4speed toploader.

Mine on my 70 reached but I had a tight bend in it. Then I bought a generic replacement cable at Pep Boys, it was longer and reached easily.

That's what I was afraid of. I do see AutoKrafters sell one for an automatic which is longer but maybe too long. I may try NPD and see what they have to offer.

Oh and by the way I'm running a 351 C so I don't know if that will change things either.

Thanks for the info. I'm going to measure to see where I stand before ordering one.
