After looking into my rear suspension I think I want to replace my leaf springs before getting caltracs. a question I'm not sure if this is Factory Bolt placement for the rear shackle. Currently I have three leaf springs out of a Ford van, with a 5 inch shackle. Will they fit or will I need a smaller shackle? not really sure plus or minus which leafs I need. my rear tires are 265/50r15.
I wouldn't mind going alil bigger tire as long as i dont have to roll my fender lip.

    Also
After further inspection of my leafs I notice one bolt came loose and moved. and all my bushings around are on their way out.

Anyone that has split mono leafs from caltracs, opinions and knowledge wanted.

I have the split mono's along with the Caltracs. I'm about to upgrade to double adjustable shocks (as soon as I win the lottery or decide to go into debt again!). I got mine so long ago that I got the Rancho shocks that were suggested from Calvert. I understand that they make their own now (or possibly it is just a rebranded Rancho). But anyhow, from the shackle perspective I did away with them. I used sliders instead. It all seems to work pretty smoothly and I am very impressed with the split mono's. But they will ask about your ride height, so be prepared to tell them where you would like to see it.

I decided to order just the caltracs and their adjustable shocks. I spoke with the guy at calvert he said that they used to be rancho shocks. but rancho moved onto a gas filled design. they took over their oil filled steel body design and fine tuned it.
