Hey, One of my bulbs is burnt out in a sport lamp (or at least i think)...I was wondering the easiest way to get to the bulbs, from looking at it it looks as if you have to tear the hell out of it just to get in to get a bulb in/out....

yup you got to take the grill out, might as well put both bulbs in while you have it out

You don't have to remove the entire grill, you have to remove the sport lamp surround, they there are 2 screws that hold the lens on.

Mine have 1157, which is the regular turn signal / tail lamp bulb. Both filaments light up to get the brighter sportlamp look.

Hmm, got to the bulb, not sure if theres a special was to remove them, or if they've just been in there so long that they dont wanna come out easy for me...at the same time i dont feel like shattering glass in my hand trying to get them out if there's a special way to do it?

Push, and twist. use a glove, nothing like that thin glass in the end of your finger.

What should i do about this plug? Or will it be fine how it is for now? First pic is my plug and its pretty much split in two with a chunk missing, second pic is the other plug.

Good news and bad news....Good news is, I got it all taken apart, replaced, no problems at all, got it back in...again no problems at all. Then the bad news came when I turned my sport lamps on, and again only one lamp is working. My first thought was that it was that plug that was split down the middle, however that's the light that IS working. :s

There should be a ground on each side behind the grill/lights. If you have a test light, you can check power to the lights at the connectors.

That's very true...however its a pain to get to the bulb with it all on and put together :/ i'll see what i can wiggle with and see if i get anything. however in the pic that i posted in the last post, I only have that (i'm guessing ground...not sure) on one side, and that's the side that is working. There isn't one on the other side.
