Sport Mirrors??? 74 Comet 2dr

    Sold my 1974 Comet - Looking super nice 73 Maverick near Memphis
    Got these with a seat for my 74 Comet. I'm not sure if these are for Maverick/Comet... pass side bottom is D20B-17713-AWA..GASKET IS D20B-17724-AA...DRIVERS SIDE BOTTOM IS D20B-17743-CWA--NO GASKET. That is what I need.... Mirror base is about 7 1/4" from tip to tip...I've only seen mirrors with top mounted screws in the Maverick/Comet pictures.....TOM

    Those mirrors are found on 1972+ Rancheros and other full sized Ford Mercury.

    Maverick & Comet sport mirrors have a D0D...or possibly D1D... Ford casting number under the base. Possibly other casting numbers later during manufacturing, not sure though.
    They will also screw in from the outside. The mirror that you have pictured are bolted from inside the doors.

    Thanks...did not think they were the right ones. I'll put them in box of stuff....
