When changing from a 6 to an 8 do you have to change the ignition module?

    Ignition Module?

    Hi BadBrad,

Kragen Auto Parts Online shows the same part number for the Ignition Module whether the engine is a 6 cylinder or an 8 cylinder.

    Hope this helps,

My problem turned out to be my own stupid mistake. I stripped off the lil black insulator sleeve on my Accell suppression wires and that was it. I redid the ends and now it runs great.

It's pretty strong. Needs some more gear and a posi! It just fries that ONE tire..lol. P245/40R17. I'm pretty happy with the way the engine performs. Still have a lot of wires and what not to tidy up then I will get to tuning on it and see what we can get out of it.
