sqeaky brakes

    Hey guys was wondering if someone might know why after i just put new front and back brakes on my mav (front disk , back drum) ,I have a sqeaking noise from right side when i apply brakes? thanks

    did you use brake cleaner to get all the "stuff" off the rotors?

    1966 Mustang, 1972, 73, 73 and 73 Mavericks
    Some of the new brake pad materials squeak. They use powdered iron and it will always squeak. If you get the softer lining material it doesn't sqeak but it doesn't work well under high heat conditions either.
