i have a rebuild 351w and a brand new 650 holley. ill be driving and get into it about half way and let off the gas and the car will stall out and die it does it when ever i accelerate and let off the gas.
First thing i'd check is the float levels. Sounds like you're sucking the gas down and not able to replenish it fast enough. Have you changed the fuel pump. If not, that would be my second guess.
nope mechanical fuel pump, i have a summit fuel rail with filter, see through filter, holley 650 racing carb, everything is new.
You need to install a dashpot on the carb to cushion your throttle linkage when jumping off the throttle. Your local Holley dealer can supply you with the part number. It is a common problem when using a manual linkage carb.
