    1977 maverick 2 door ( my sons) 250 c4
    was the black paint on a stallion gloss , semi gloss, or satin finish from factory, thinkin on a clone:confused:

    It was FLAT!!!! Ugliest car I ever saw sitting on a show room floor. I thought it was primer. Paint it gloss. IMO, it looks great that way.

    Ours was flat black when we bought the stallion, but Wilbur waxed it so much it's now glossy black. Looks much better! Susan

    Actually they were satin black,,, mine still has some of the original paint in places to prove it. But the luster was so low that most percieved it as flat. Flat has no gloss what so ever, satin will reflect.
