Been working on the Stallion clone, trying to get it done for the July roundup show. I had purchased an overflow tank to install a while ago, but found out that because this car has air, there isn't room to position it where I did on the yellow mav. Ended up making my own based off the style and design of the store-bought version. I used PVC and a couple of brass hose fittings. Here is how it turned out...
Also been working on the famous "lower dash" issues, resulting from a poor original design with many weak points. My solution was a combination of gluing in pieces of plastic on the back side (including small rectangle pieces in all the areas where the screws hold the dash in place, a common failure point), followed by filling in the cavities with fiberglass resin. End result appears to be very strong and solid...
At first I thought the white overflow looked silly, then saw the pic of it painted and installed. Looks good in the car. And alot cheaper then the $40 aluminum tank I got. Nice creative work.
