Starter Solenold

    This is the solenold that came on my 71, could anybody tell me if it's the right one ? I have never seen one like this before but that doesn't always mean anything either. Thanks Rick

    thats a later model 1980's+ one it looks differant but functions the same as the stock style one.

    I replaced one this summer from my car just like that.

    That is considered the heavy duty solenoid. Common on full sized cars with power windows and large engines.
    Many have the Ford part number on them, some dating back to 1969.

    Krelboyne You are right ! I just went and looked at it and it's a Autolite C9AF-***** so I guess it could of come on my car. Thanks Rick
