    Is the wiring in a 70 steering column different then a 71 up column?

    '70 Maverick Grabber
    Yes, the ignition switch on a 70 is different than any other year, has a grey plug and is a different length and is located between the column dash mounting bolts instead of at the base of the column as on later years.
