Hey guys! The mav has been running better than ever hence why I have not been here in quite a long while. However she began acting up the other day and is making this weird click when you turn the wheel to the right. The noise is quite loud and only happens when you are turning to the right. The suspension is fairly new, the power cylinder was replaced because is was leaking and rubbing on the headers, just this past fall. I'm thinking it might be the steering gear. Could this be right? Thanks

Is the clicking noise because your turning the steering wheel or because the wheels themselves are rotating? Turn the wheel while the car is sitting still and see if its still clicking. If it is, its in the steering assembly. If not, its one of the tires or bearings. I have picked up large rocks in the tread before that make that exact noise your describing.

Mavaholic it's when I turn the steering wheel only. Since we've narrowed it to the steering assembly what within the assembly is probably bad or where should I start? Thanks

possibly the turn signal cam since its plastic and wears over time, it might be one of the easiest things to check, if not then start checking the entire front end, remember safety first!

When your sitting still, is the noise just when your turning the wheel or does it keep clicking after you stop?

If the noise is comming from inside the car, do as Wayne suggested. It just might be the turn signal switch. If the noise appears to be comming outside the car, have some one who can listen and watch while the wheel is turned. Check the rag joint first, then the steering box. That new power ram you put on could also be a the problem. Sorry cant be any more help unless you want to bring your car over to my house, but its just a matter of isolating the source of the clicking.
