Hello every body, I'm new here so I don't know if this has already been done or not but I didn't find anything in the search bar so sorry if this is a double post. I was trying to fnd a way to fix the factory steering wheel in my car because I want to restore it to original, but with the plastic being split so much I can't do it, anyways I found a company that restores steering wheels located in New South Wales I believe. Here's the address if this is somethig you may be interested in. http://www.pearlcraft.com.au/

I've been told you can use a little wire and bondo as well.. Just let the bondo set, then sand and shoot.

Do NOT use bondo to repair the steering wheel. It will crack and flake off even if there is support wire added to it.

What I use is good old fashioned 2 part epoxy made for hard plastics. The epoxy has enough give to where it's not going to crack, yet it's hard enough to last for a while.

With time and patience you can repair your steering wheel yourself for a lot less than it would cost to send it out. Look on the Eastwood site for a book called the Steering Wheel Restoration Handbook, by Jack Turpin. It's direct and to the point with a lot of great pictures. I have restored a couple of steering wheels using the tips from that book with great results.
