What are u hookin up? HOw many spk's? Once u get the pwr hook-up theres only a few other wires depending on what ur tryin to accomplish in sound sys. Some better pix's and info on what ur doin wud be helpful.

I believe the red/blue wire is the switched pwr lead. If u have a voltage meter or tester light u can chk it to make sure it's the 12v lead u need for pwr.
The other wires wud be speaker leads. If it's a CD or cassette I wud test it on the bench b4 installing.
Does the radio have a diagram of the wiring or instruction manual ? Are u adding spk's or they already there?

U need the switch/ignition to pwr the radio and the battery to keep the memory. U can use the lead to the cigar lighter for memory it's a constant 12v source ; it is a blu/white tracer. I assume u have a cigar lighter? Do u have a volt tester of some sort?

I'm going by pure memory here so if I'm in error on something, hopefully someone will correct my mistake(s).

The Blue with Red Stripe wire is your Factory Radio light wire. Most times on New Radios, this wire isn't used.

The other wire in the same plug SHOULD be the switched power.

The other plug has the wire for the Positive side of both your speakers. The factory did not use a ground / negative wire running from the radio to the speakers in their wiring harness. They used what is known as a common ground system that picks up electrical system noise in more modern radios more often than not. Personally I would run new speaker wires from the radio to the speakers.

There isn't a constant Battery / Memory wire in the factory radio wiring harness. You can either run your own FUSED wire to the battery or tap into the cigarette lighter wire if your radio requires it.

There isn't a Ground wire in the factory wiring harness either. The factory used a chassis ground through the mounting strap bolted to either the side or back of the Factory Radio (I've seen the old Ford Radios mounted both ways). Just run your Radio's Ground Wire to a good, clean piece of metal behind / under the dash.

    Hope this helps, :Handshake
