I forget who collects the VIN information for the Grabber registry so I will post it here.

    2K93F197508
    Body code 62D
    Color 2B
    Trim LA
    Transmission 1
    Axle 3
    DSO 28

Unfortunately I found it in a boneyard. Rialto Ecology in SoCal to be exact.

Someone had converted to a floor shift automatic, but the clutch and brake pedals were still there. Must have been a floor shift manual transmission originally, steering column did not have a provision for any shifter.

Does the trim show that this was a factory bucket seat car?

I removed the brake/clutch pedal assembly, unfortunately the Z-bar and all other related stuff was long gone, even looked in the trunk. I did find the passenger side grabber hood insert though.

Someone had removed the hood, and passenger sport mirror before I got there. Rear spoiler had been damaged.

Any local I.E. guys need a V8 conversion? everything is still there as of 10-17-2008. Floor shift steering column is in the backseat where I put it.

In the coming week I will likely list all of the Maverick parts that I have been collecting in the 'for sale' section. A planned Comet GT project has been postponed due to my finding a 1968 California Special Mustang project.
