still having troubles with the rear bumber

    i found the bolts in the trunk you guys were talking about,,but now it seems the clips that they go trough on the brackets have rotted,so the bolts just turn and i see no way of holding whats left of the clips to stop them from spinning while i turn the bolts,anyone have any suggestions,or am i going to have to cut the bolts,,,i really dont want to do any cutting ,but will if i have too

    1972 Maverick Grabber - Color: Orange Also, 1976 Ford Maverick 4-door, 1977 Mercury Comet 2-door.
    You can probably reach up in there with some vice grips and hold the nut clip nut that is spinning behind the bumper. I have done that and it works.
